If you have not already registered for self-service password reset, please follow the instructions below or on the file attached before proceeding.
Step 1: On a laptop or desktop, log in to Microsoft Office 365 with your bccc.edu account by clicking the link below.

Step 2: A prompt to secure your account will display. Enter BCCC email > Click Next.
ITS recommends the Microsoft Authenticator app because it is the easiest and most secure method that works best with BCCC’s systems. Receive a push notification to approve your sign-in. Authenticator will also show you the location that the sign-in attempt is coming from, so you’ll easily be able to tell if something looks suspicious.
Step 3: On your mobile device, go to your Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the Microsoft Authenticator.

Step 4 – On the computer: Select Next
Step 5 - On the computer: Select Next
Step 6 - On the computer: A QR Code will be seen on the computer screen. Continue to Step 4. THE CODE IN THE SCREENSHOT BELOW IS ONLY A SAMPLE - DO NOT SCAN
Step 7 - On your mobile device, open the Microsoft Authenticator app: Agree to the terms > Select “add work or school account”
Step 8 - Select “Scan a QR Code”
Step 9 - When the camera displays on your phone, hold it to the QR code on the screen of the monitor to complete the setup > Select next to complete the MFA. DO NOT SCAN THIS CODE BELOW
Step 10 - Authentication will now be requested from your Microsoft Authenticator App on your phone to complete the setup.

Setting up Alternate Methods for Self-Service Password Reset
If you forget your password or get locked out of your account, Self Service Password Reset can assist. It is important that you enroll in multiple methods of authentication (Microsoft Authenticator App, personal email, and phone number) to fully complete the process.
Step 1 - Alternate Method: Setup receiving through a phone call or alternate email address. Select the option “I want to set up a different method”.
Step 2 - Alternate Method: Select Email > Click Next. Click Here to Continue with Email and Phone setup.
Using Email and Phone Method
Step 1: Select Email > Confirm
Step 2: Enter email address > Click Next
Step 3: Enter code sent to the email address > Click Next
Step 4: Enter telephone number and choose “Call Me” > Click Next
* Text message functionality will be retired in the future, so please enroll using a phone call.
Step 5: Answer your phone and press 1 to confirm your number.
Step 6: Click Next to complete both setups.
Step 7: Click Done to complete setup.
